UPS freight sent additional bill
I sent a pallet out and paid by check at the terminal. Check was cashed but now ups frieght (now tforce)sent me a bill for over a grand. Pallet has been delivered and the original bill satisfied. Anyone ever deal with this type of nonsense?

Would throw that in file 13, move on, nothing to see here

put it in the round file

As long as you didn't sign anything stating the paid bill was an estimate and that additional costs would be billed, I'd toss it.

^^^ Totally agree .

Scammers commonly spoof UPS freight invoices. I'm not sure why they target UPS, but in my office we're warned not to even open an attachment from UPS unless we check to make sure the email is legitimate.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was from a scammer and not UPS. |

I figured it was an error on ups billing that I wasn't going to pay for anyways. |
One of the main scams with scam UPS invoices is that the attachment contains a virus. If you click on the attachment to open the invoice you might download the virus. Just to be safe run your virus scanner and check your files for security.
I never click on any attachments anymore unless I was expecting it and know for sure who it's coming from. Even then I scan it to make sure it isn't malicious. I can't count how many time iTunes or McAfee or UPS or DHL or Amazon has sent me an invoice or a refund notice, that all I have to do to see what it is is to click on the attachment. |
