My brain must already be in the next century!!

Well crap! This explains a lot.

"Having 1 beer a day could age your brain two years, new study finds"

I thought having a drink a day was supposed to be good for your cardio system.

cabmandone 03-04-2022 11:57 AM

It is! If I don't have a drink for a week while I'm trying to lose weight, I start having heart palpitations.

from the linked article....
"It's normal to lose your marbles a bit as you age, and that's reflected in the brain's physiology."

Yes!

Yeah but I have the brain of a 400 year old person if what they say is true!

Thank god its not Vodka doing this

^^^
Twice in my life I've gotten loaded drinking vodka. Once when I was in my late teens early 20's and once a few years ago when I didn't realize Moscow Mules have vodka. Won't make that mistake again! That stuff aged my brain at least 10 years in one night!

However, it is the one drink I can heavily indulge in and still function the next day, not so with the brown stuff.

^^^ diabetic?
My sister is...and she told me that is the only alcohol drink she is allowed to drink.

Oh man, after that Moscow Mule night my wife said "no more drinking at wedding receptions" Not good... Not good at all.
The wedding reception was 1 mile from where I live. I have no recollection of the ride home (wasn't driving), or my son and his friend helping me in the house! I've been CRAZY drunk before, but never like that. Nope! Keep that stuff away from me!
