Filet Mignon Burgers Are Delicious!!!
So, last Christmas my Dad gave us a variety pack from Omaha Steaks and it had several boxes of these 5.3 oz, Filet Mignon burger patties. I looked them up on their website and discovered that they are aged 30 days making them very tender and flavorful. These things are wonderful. I used them to make bacon cheeseburgers last night. I put them on my grill for 10 minutes, flipped, grilled for about 5 minutes, pulled off the grill and put them on the warming rack and added the cheese and pulled them after the cheese was coating the patty, about 2 to 3 minutes. They were absolutely delicious!!!
Today it will be 1 month since Dad passed away so, in a strange way, he provided me my meal last night. Thanks Dad. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Anybody here remember Eddie's Restaurant...on Arlington St. in Boston - way back when? Where you'd order your burger by first requesting your choice of whatever type and cut of steak be used - and they'd grind it on the spot...shape a huge patty and slap it onto the flaming grille? To this day, I have not found anything close to a burger from Eddies. But then again, that Omaha filet burger might just be the cat's pajamas!
