Any donations to Ukraine?
Just curious if anybody else has donated or otherwise done something for the effort in Ukraine? I donated to the World Central Kitchen that has set up kitchens to help feed people. I'm not a liberal donator, but I felt it was something I wanted to do.

I donate to my brothers church (LDS). I've found that the money reaches the needed spots more efficiently than donating straight to the Red Cross or other organizations. I know they have a fund for Ukrainian refugees.

After looking at several news sites one where to donate I chose CARE. If I didn't have the company, I'd be there in some way.
CARE

oh good lord, no one cares if you donated or how much. they care about making a good choice and a shared experience. no one cares about your inverse virtue signaling.

Been seriously thinking of driving up to a border crossing and donating my old Toyota 4Runner 4x4 to the Ukrainian authorities so it can be used in the most useful way possible to help their country

Considering the rampant corruption in that part of the world, I’d be hard pressed to expect dime one to go where it’s needed. The US is sending something like 13 billion of your tax dollars to Ukraine. Of that, I’d guess about 11 cents will go to the war effort. But a very few very wealthy people will get considerably wealthier.
Maybe Burisma needs a board member or two. I have no experience, but it’s worth a shot.

I wish I could donate my Sako 7mm RemMag. I'd love to know it was going to be used for a good purpose.

The International Rescue Committee is another option.

I get shaken down every day when riding my motorbike in Ukraine and Moldova. I've been booking Airbnbs in Ukraine (not going, of course). Airbnb is waiving all the fees, so 100% of my booking $$$ goes to the apartment owners. I realize that these are probably people with more income than the average Ukrainian, but I am booking the lower cost units, in an effort to reach average people. I don't like talking about where my donations go and how much, but these people deserve our help.

About the only way I could see helping was donating a few $ to Samaritin's Purse which has sent a medical team to help folks suffering from the Russians. They have a mobile hospital unit set up over there since a week ago.
