Anybody have a 2005 BMW E46 wiring diagram?

I have been looking for days online for a wiring diagram for a 2005 BMW E46. Specifically as it relates to the cruise control. I’ve found multiples of engine, lighting, radio, etc.

Long story short, does anybody have the cruise control wiring diagram for 2005 330 CI?

Auto wiring is not my forte and looking at a wiring diagram makes my head explode. I’ve done a search online and can’t find exactly what I wanted….or dead links.

That said, I’m trying to connect my 2005 E46 330 factory slip ring connection (4 wires) for cruise control to a three wire MOMO cruise control adapter with Saleen / Ford cruise control switches. While I never use it in town, it’s useful when going to and from tracks out of town.

You can see the factory cruise control connector has four wires: blue, gray, white and red. The Saleen / Ford switches have three wires.

Can somebody tell me what each wire of the four factory cruise wires do? I’m hoping if I know this, I can find out what the Ford switches wires do and splice them in.

To keep it simple, I’m OK with minimum functions, including off, on and set. I don’t need resume/coast/etc.

Edit. The black wire on the Saleen /Ford wiring is the ground.

Edit 2: I noticed today when I was pulling out the two cruise control switches on the steering wheel trim there was a thin ribbon that looped over to the radio control buttons.

Thanks

Do you have alldata DIY?

Not sure how good it is as we use the multiple pro licenses in our shop. Email or PM me if stuck.

Cheers

Alldata does not support BMW. Apparently, many years ago there were lots of sites that had this information and more, but either BMW has shut them down or they’ve gone by the wayside.

PM sent.

Thanks, Fred.

How do I know what wire does what? I've taken a stab at the wire colors and noted what know.

Any way to interface the two?

Do the radio switches matter?

The Ford wiring is labled... set/coast/resume/off
