Are guys sitting down to piss now?
Need new underwear, have worn boxer briefs for a long time. I don’t like traditional boxers because the the boys get knocked around too easily.
I like the newer performance fabrics so looking for something other than Fruit of the Loom and the like. All of these shorts have no fly. What am I missing? |

I saw more than one "man" last night at a Korean grocery store, wearing purses and "man" buns, in sweatpants and flip flops. Geezus. How can anyone have so little self-respect to go out in public like that?

Close second is Culprit. Despite the fact they have a traditional fly, they are really comfortable. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk

I don't wear underwear.
Don't really see the point. Been going commando for decades.

Use your imagination, you don't need a fly.

As to the title of the thread? I don't see the connection between title and OP's post. Did I miss something? But to answer, hell yes I sit (when at home but not out when a urinal is available). A. I'm lazy and B. it saves on clean up. Seriously. A buddy several years back used to joke about sitting down, then his Dr put him on some med for whatever reason that turned his pee a color. As a result of the colored pee, he said he could see the pee splashes all over the bathroom. He is now a sitter.

I've been sitting down to pee for more than 10 years. It's just easier and there's way less chance of any residue.

Zero issues of the split-stream, easier to relax and check your phone (you know you all do), no risk of the "Uh, the other end needs to go too" with the ensuing kegel and pivot.
And if you pick the right banana-hammock there's little difficulty in finding an obvious answer to the "fly" problem if you are standing up. ![]()

I sit sometimes. It is easier, at least at times. I also prefer those sporty briefs which are somewhat like ordinary briefs but they tend to be black and have 2-3 inches of leg. The give the boys a little support, are comfortable, and make for a good "presentation."

Considering the age of most posters here, the idea of wearing "sporty" underwear or even nontraditional ones or any kind (spider man briefs) seems odd to me. I assumed that everyone of a certain age pretty much wore the same ones they did as a young man. White and cotton. I would say that I need to get out more, but I guess I still would not see what underwear others chose.

I do most of my shopping at Costco & buy their underwear, which is stretchy, supportive & has a traditional opening in the front. I gave up boxers & commando years ago after getting epididymitis from hiking with loose garments that rubbed back & forth down there causing it. One doc wanted to cut right away, but I went for the advice of another who advised hot sitz baths to remedy the situation. I never use the opening in the front, since I'm in the habit of undoing my pants & pulling down the band of my underwear.
