Anyone in SoCal has a 22' Boston Whaler Revenge?

Hi everyone,
I am in SoCal, recently bought a fixer upper 22' Boston Whaler Revenge. My coming up project is converting the rollers trailer to bunks, and lower it several inches in the mean time. May I ask if anyone in SoCal with the same boat, or any Whaler at similar size, with bunks trailer, who can allow me to come and look at it? I would appreciate it very much. It will help me a lot on precisely setting it up.
Thanks you very much in advance.

Why? its much easier to get a boat onto a trailer with rollers.. Bunks you typically have to get the trailer more in the water.. Rollers you can basically push the boat off the trailer anywhere

Hi Tim,
It seem that the rollers wheels are putting dents on the bottom of the hull. The outer layer of the hull on this boat is very thin. Also, many of the rollers and arms are deformed anyway, need replace anyway.

BW recommends bunks for all their boats. May be able to get bunk specs by emailing them. Their support folks are very customer oriented.

I absolutely hate roller trailers. You might also check out hull truth and i'm pretty sure there is a whaler forum out there as well.

Fellow Whaler owner here, the folks over at continuouswave.com are your friends on this, should be easy to find an outrage owner who can send you some pics.

What year is yours... My dauntless is a 97 which means from the rub rail down it is an Outrage, same hull for that year.

Thanks guys,
Yeah, I posted the same question multiple places, hope someone with similar boat for me to come and take a look/measure. Mine is an 87. The way it sit on the rollers is very tall. I wan to lower it too. The thing is that I never own a boat before; therefore, having my eyes/hands on one (with correct setup) would help. Right now, base on my comment sense, I have a lot of "what if" in mind mine.
Thanks guys.

Grant,
since you mentioned rub rail, I need to replace it too.

Can I ask what size is your boat?
Is the boat sitting flat on the bunks or the bunks flex down to hug the curve on the bottom of the hull?
Would you think 2x4 wood is better because it need to flex, or 3x4 is better for the rigid?
How much taller the center rollers need to be compare to the cross members or as long as it is taller is good enough? Right now, my center roller (the rubber roller) is only 1.5" taller than the cross member. and the boat is 6"-8" taller than the cross member. which means the boat never touch the center roller.

CENTER ROLLER
should be the MAIN support side bits balance the boat mini loads so no distortions CAUSED
so get DOWN on the roller then adjust the sides to kiss the bottom only
both center and sides should be adjustable but change the SIDE mount if you must to get down ON the center rollers it all wants to be as low as it can be WITHOUT PRESSURE ON THE SIDES
DONOT USE BEFORE ADJUSTMENT for trips

WOOD THICKNESS
is the hull flat [ thick ]or curved [ flex] at the wood contact area

I was a boat yard loader long ago

My boat is a 17 foot Dauntless.

My trailer is a center roller with bunks, so the keel itself is on rollers (these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DH3IBI0) and the bunks basically are there for stability, they are not really load bearing. When I replaced my bunks a few years back I used 2x6 pressure treated wood, but again this wood is more about distributing any load from the two "rigid" points on each, the bunks do not hold the weight of the boat itself.

Attaching a pic I took from before I replaced the hardware and the bunks (look at that hardware...eeek!) to give you an idea of the layout for mine.
