Bring a Hangar.

I think I remember reading once that the guy who played Worf on Star Trek, The Next Generation owned and flew a Sabre.

The Jet little kids in the sixties drew when they were supposed to be paying attention in school.

Thanks for posting.

Wife is only now coming around on my wrecked diesel pusher coach.

I still have an unfinished airplane project.... Besides that thing would never work on my grass runway.

What a gorgeous pair of airplanes. Fighter jets almost always have "it" in the looks department, don't they? (OK, not always, but a lot of the time.)

That and this, from the ad:

Miscellaneous:
No Logs or Records other than USAF historical information.
Aircraft is a complete project with many parts that will require a complete restoration.

$180,000 is the threshold cost for the Sleigh Ride.

Apparently not just the Sabre.

"A member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association,[12] Dorn is an accomplished pilot. He has flown with the Blue Angels as well as the Thunderbirds.[3] Dorn has owned several jet aircraft, including a Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star, which he jokingly refers to as his "starship",[13] a North American F-86 Sabre, and currently owns a North American Sabreliner. Dorn also serves on several aviation organizations, one of which is the Air Force Aviation Heritage Foundation,[14] where he is on the advisory board. He has done interviews for the "Private Jets" episode of Modern Marvels on The History Channel."

The civilian-owned Phantom and Sea Harrier make this look practical. Who doesn't love to see stuff like that? A Tomcat and Super Hornet would be pretty sweet and I'd give a kidney to fly in either one.
