12V DC Battery Needs for Quickjak
I just bought a Qucikjack 1350, but due to my not reading the model/type I got a unit that has the 12V DC power unit. My question is .... how small can I go in the 12V DC battery to power this unit? I know that I could just power it from the car battery but would prefer to buy another battery (preferably smaller) and not sure how much smaller I can go. Any thoughts/suggestions welcome

Does it have current or HP ratings? How long is the lift duration and how many lifts per charge do you want (to figure capacity)

So I think trying to use the QuickJack with a small, stand-alone battery is probably a bad idea. Either use it with your vehicle battery and jumper cables, as instructed, or contact QuickJack, admit your ordering mistake, and ask them if they can exchange the 12v control unit for an AC powered unit. Why would somebody want a 12V QuickJack? Do they carry it around with them in their vehicle?

dont do what i did which was buy their 12volt jump pack.
it doesnt work, and when i called them about it, they said i needed some kind of different cables (why? the guy couldnt really answer). and that i should email them and they would ship them out to me. they have not done so, ive in fact, herd nothing from them. |
