Who says pool players are heartless?
On a pool player posting board I visit. there was another of those threads on what players do to "shark" (annoy or distract) their opponent. The following post by a guy who calls himself "slate man" touched me...
"My dad has a bad habit of grabbing the chalk on the table to chalk his cue while I am shooting. He isn't trying to shark me, he just doesn't know any better. I could tell him, but I know one day I'm gonna miss that little annoyance." |
kinda like stepping into the path of a golfer that is putting with your shadow.

I doubt people say pool players are heartless.
I do think there are plenty people thinking they are boring others and it would be better for all involved if they were actually playing IN the pool hall instead of talking about it on car forums... |

I'm only 70 and don't see the reaper anywhere near the horizon. FBII frequently states "I love you dearly Dad but why do you have to be such a PITA?". I have a variety of responses:
