^^^^^ Oh you definitely should have been baked

Finally watched it last night. My daughter loved it when it came out months ago, and she's been egging me on to see it.

Bizarre. That's my word for it. I enjoyed it.. but it's got to be one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen (that was good/enjoyable).

My daughter described the theme as generational trauma. Heck, I'm so old, I don't even know what that term means. In my simple, agedond, it's a movie about family. I liked it.

But one thing: When they spoke in Chinese, why did they flip back and forth between Mandarin and Cantonese?! In one scene, a character would speak one dialect. Later on (sometimes in the same scene), they would flip to the other dialect. That doesn't happen in real life.
