Home Depot run down in Houston, road rage

Lots of crazy out there. I wonder if this was road rage or something else.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying the driver they say intentionally ran over a man in a Home Depot parking lot in north Harris County.

The incident happened on March 12 at about 7:35 a.m. in the 22300 block of Kuykendahl Road.

The victim, a 53-year-old man, was walking from his vehicle to the entrance of the store, when a white-colored Lexus RX 350 drove toward the entrance and then went onto the direct path of the victim.

In a video released by authorities, the victim is seen trying to get out of the way but the driver of the Lexus follows him and strikes him.

The car then fled to the back to the exit on Kuykendahl. Authorities said the victim was checked out and released the same day.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the driver of the vehicle was described as a Hispanic man, whose age is not known. The Lexus is a white RX 350. It's believed the vehicle is a 2018-or later and has a black-colored rack on the back.

I’ve stopped watching videos like this, there are just so many of them and they are all the same. Just non-stop violence, captured on CCTV.

Gawking at the stacks of lumber to his left and trying to calculate the value using mental math. It was never gonna end well.

Wow…. That’s one quiet Home Depot. I went to a HD yesterday in the Bay Area and it was a certifiable zoo. You couldn’t walk a straight line to your car. People and carts and vehicles everywhere.

I was expecting the worst, when the article said he was run over. But then the article said, he was released. How’s the car when you over and you released the same day?

Then after watching the video, it was clear, he was not run over.

The one in Hollywood is the busiest one in the country. Somehow, it's still not that bad most of the times I've been there. Definitely a busy parking lot.

Even for 7:30 AM, it looks quiet. And that looks like the pro section for contractors.

There are always exceptions - but in general most Lexus drivers are real douches....
