Anybody have the TOTO toilet with the built-in washlet?

Yeah, I asked.

Mom and Dad had the add-on "washlet" but I wonder if anyone has full TOTO toilet with the washlet built-in all fancy-like.

I wonder if it's a bad idea if the washlet parts fail. Those guys are smart. Surely they made it servicable, right?

Once you wash your crack you never go back!

I want to say that Vash has posted about having a toilet with the built in washing, but I'm not sure if it was toto or something else.

My former business partner who researchers everything to hell and back just had a few installed in his condo, I just installed a Brondell Bidet for my mother, it works well, as I wasn't replacing the entire toilet. I have had on myself for years, you are correct.

You mean the one which rises to meet you as you enter the bathroom...inquires (via. a very smooth, seductive, oriental female voice) - "would you also like a wash and blow dry?" And auto flushes and closes as you leave? A good friend of mine has one of these...and it completely weirded me out!

i havent changed how i feel about my toilets. they have been flawless. still havent plugged up a Toto. 7 years now.

i keep things clean. my doctor said they are a great way to prevent 'roids. apparently the scrubbing can roughen things up a bit.

one HUGE downside. if you ever have to poop in a regular toilet. it is now the worst. you feel squishy (mentally) and like a savage.

my older coworkers have all installed them. well, the ones that had surgery. leg surgeries that made "wiping" difficult. they all love the installs.

do it. best money i have spent.

I considered the all in one that I think you are asking about Neorest, but decided to get their toilet with their add on seat. At least if the seat fails I still have a toilet, not sure if the Neorest works at all without power, future parts availability worried me a little, they do look cool though. The one I really liked was about $8k

I'm left wondering if this is a toilet named after a band, or a band named after a toilet.

Cool!

Unfortunately I missed Vash's thread but just now caught up on all 21 posts! Thanks for the link, Steve.

I never knew these existed but just watched an informative YT vid (see below) and holy cow how awesome....I'm all in!

Looks like just a seat that fits over your existing toilet. Doesn't sound like a big deal.

My former home had a bidet in the master bath but I never used it. Just turned it on once and then had a bunch of water to clean up.

Here's the video - about 16 months old but still informative:

Yes of course you feel that way but think about how weird it is to put a piece of kleenex on your hand so you can smear your nasty poo all over your bunghole. Which is weirder?

I have had one for 8 years. No problems. Using tp is barbaric compared to warm water of varing pressure and temperature, all with warm air drying. Ahhhh
