I'm talking out of my ass with what is best. I know a handful of old performers and that's about it.

Some mid range stuff like Alan Jackson, George Strait, etc. Oh, Faith Hill and Sha Nay Nay Twain

A Boy Named Sue was powerful. No doubt, and I listened to The Winner all the way through.

To know a song is really good, takes a while. I'll defer to your judgement in light of the fact I am just talking my likes.
