I would be interested, but my driveway it’s only 27 feet long, so I don’t think it will fit? 😂

Good luck with the sale!

Racerbvd 04-02-2022 02:02 PM

Lol, I was looking at an Eldorado on line, got me thinking.

Riding on a sea of torque, nice color

herr_oberst 04-02-2022 06:45 PM

Tempting, but no WWT, and missing fender skirts. Plus, it's riding a mile in the air.

Good luck with the auction.

Granted that this was a "with" song and more mellow/traditional but wow can those three guys, in "loud" mode, make so much noise! So much fun to see live - they seem to come through NM pretty often and while we're not really concert-people, we'll chase them down.

Normally their song's about some big old Ford though. And now I'm off to the "OK, boomer" cd player!

How was ownership for 3 years? How many times did you drive it?

No one ever wrote a song about a Nissan.

I laughed right out loud when I read that.

dafischer 04-03-2022 06:24 PM

Did you ever get the cooling system issues straightened out?

sc_rufctr 04-04-2022 12:37 AM

Beautiful car... Utterly American and no one will ever make a car like this again. (That's as big or styling)
- Kind of sad really.

Good luck with the sale. :)

BK911 04-04-2022 04:34 AM

Thanks guys!
Really neat car that hopefully somebody can enjoy.
I only drove the car about a dozen times, including a couple of 75 mile round trips to/from work.
Looking for something newer for longer family road trips.
Yes, I think the cooling issue is resolved.
Yup, aint your momma's nissan!!
I also have the side skirts but they wont fit with the wider tires on the spoked rims. Miss by ~1/8".

Beautiful old beast!
I've been expecting someone to post a link to Sawyer Brown's Some Girls Do.

"She turned up her nose as she walked by my Cadillac. "

Best

Watch ‘counting cars’ on local channel, Counts Customs in Vegas. The owner Danny has a collection of Cadillacs. He loves them. My Dad had a white Eldorado coupe, that was a money pit. He drove it for about 3 years, sold it and bought big Lincoln 4 door boats. When he passed, my Mom drove the stinkin’ Lincoln for awhile. It was funny to see this little short woman behind the wheel of that land cruiser. Still had it when she passed. I didn’t want it so I donated it to a local charity. Those Cads and Lincoln’s were built like tanks….

I remember when my 74 914 was new, I had a photo job at a local hospital. I parked in back with all the doctors. I pulled in next to a Cadillac of that era. I pulled up to the end of the spot, and went to the front trunk of my 914 to get some photo equipment out. The Caddy's front bumper stuck further forward with our front tires pretty much even. I then went to the back trunk on my 914, to get the other gear I needed, and my rear bumper only came to the B pillar on the Caddy. It was in the days of 28 cents per gallon gas.
