That's cool. We open up at Atlanta. Joe Burrow is throwing out the first pitch when they come back to Cincinnati.

That is cool.

Use of full band is interesting.

I was just now looking at the link that I posted. He is doing a concert the next day at the VanAndel Arena in GR.
I live nearby, so I looked online at tickets. Highest prices are $65 and most are $25 to $45...not bad in today's prices.

The interesting part is that it's a 'phone-free show' If a person forgets and tries to enter with their phone....they are given a lock-bag to put it in and it can't be unlocked inside the arena.

The concert is the first part of 'The Supply Chain Issues Tour'

He has done the no-phone thing for awhile. Imagine an artist wanting his fans to listen to the music and enjoy the show!

^^^ Yes..I think it's a great policy.

This is from the info for the tour....
"WHAT IF I WANT TO POST ON MY SOCIALS? We can help with that. Our tour photographer will post live photos and videos after every show at jackwhiteiii.com and on Instagram @officialjackwhite. Download content from the site or repost from Jacks IG. WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS & IS IT MANDATORY? We believe this creates a better experience for everyone & yes, its non-negotiable."

In my day...we held up stick matches.

Heck yes.

I work in a severely phone/electronic-free world and it's glorious. You have something ringing in your pocket? You get a nice stern teenager with something stronger on his hip escorting you from the area. And lots of paperwork. And if you've done it before, perhaps a suggestion to find employment elsewhere.

It is glorious, and btw I think it'd be awesome to see Mr White in the live...

^ Jack is a phenomenal performer. He is intense and he truly puts it out there for his fans. I’ve seen him a number of times in his post White Stripes bands and the shows have always been memorable.

I went to NSSN a couple of years back and the The Raconteurs were on the bill... AWESOME! I'd really like to see him in a stripped down, small venue playing nothing but blues.

He's getting close to appearing. Looks like a decent day for baseball..low 40's, no snow or rain..yet!
Introducing players and coaches right now.

Well..he did a great job. (Not sure if the guy with the blue comb-over hair was him)

The Wart-Hogs fly-over was cool.

Am I the only one underwhelmed with that “performance”? Was expecting something inspired and innovative. That wasn’t it.

Just my opinion...of course.

I'm sure in a studio he could have done better. The anthem is prob not easy on a guitar in mid 30 degree temps.
It was a show...his music history speaks for himself.

He did mention he was not certain of how the guitar strings would perform in the cold.

I've been looking forward to it all week.

He really plays goods.

He might have had his mind on other things at the ball game. One big day!
