Electric Riding Mower
Moving soon and will need to buy a rider. Lot is 1.7 acres with about 1 acre of grass to mow. Traditional or zero turn not as important...either would suit my needs.
Considering electric...but not sure if I should. I can fix a gas mower if something goes wrong. But electric? Nope. But, no gas, oil or even belts sounds intriguing. Cost new is a premium but not significantly. So, would you go electric?

Back in the 1970s my dad bought a GE ElecTrak electric mower. It did the trick. We had a big yard. The front yard was cut Saturday, the back yard Sunday. The riding mower gave us 2 1/2 hours of use. I am sure todays mowers are more efficient.
Here is a link to the mower we had. https://www.facebook.com/GE-electrak-electric-garden-tractor-215861668489032/ ![]() ![]()
