Manopause

Is it a thing too?

More gradual and less noticeable transition but yeah the hormones get out of kilter, we get the dad bod, take 20 naps a day, deal with man part problems.

Discuss.

Pro Tip: only discuss amongst men cause if'n the woman's think we are trying to steal some of their thunder there'll be hell to pay. You have been warned.

Keep moving. Movement is the key. Were not designed to sit. Take better care of yourself. Eat less meat and carbs. No junkfood, that cast iron stomach died at 40. Naps are fine and proven to extend life and release stress. Get outside. Do something dirty. Get some Beberine and more boron in your diet. Stop eating or drinking soy products. Men dont need soy and stuff that increases estrogen.

Dont discuss with women, they will think they are no longer attractive and cause of said issue, end up on Dr. Phil episode, divorce you, take the house, cars, bank account, half the 401.

Keep moving and active and they will try to keep up.

If you feel something is wrong or you are unhealthy go see a doctor and get some lab work done. Have both iron and saturation levels checked. A lot of little changes can have a healthy impact on our bodies.

Keep it fun and dont take things so serious anymore.

My life advice with this if you're over 50: get full physical checkups 2X a year with accompanying blood work. Get healthy if you are not. Healthy as in what your blood work tells you. Do cardio. I use a treadmill and work it into my morning routine. That was a pain in the @ss at 1st, but now I actually look forward to it. Stress will manifest itself both physically and emotionally. Try to reduce that in the areas you have control over.

Probably worst thing on your body is smoking, I've never ever smoked cigarettes seeing the struggle my father went through especially in his old age. Drink in moderation, I don't drink anymore on school nights ( weekdays) and learned to limit the number and volume on the weekends. I eat better, consume much less sugar and carbs than ever before.

I'm now on Trulicity to help me maintain my A1C which at last checkup was 5.9. I also started testosterone replacement therapy a few years back. That in itself made the biggest difference as fior whatever reason my body has a really low output of that inspire of being active and performing physical labor frequently.

We get one shot at this, one vessel - take care as best you can

Right, it's super rare for me to nap, maybe once every other year, and it's usually preceded by some sort of long night where I get 4hrs of sleep or less.
