there is a statue and art display in SF that will quiet any crowd as well.

Been there and the Illinois Holocaust Museum in Skokie, IL. Very sobering indeed.

Walking through Yad Vashem was a life altering experience for me.........

While living in Berlin, I visited three of the Concentration Camps. Auschwitz was the most moving and our guide still had the numbers tattoo'ed on his arm... he was a young boy when he was interned there.

IMHO everyone should visit one of the CC camps sometime in their life. It really makes you think... and hopefully never forget.
