Another barn find story!
Who doesn't love hearing about these?? Ok, don't answer that. I definitely enjoy it and just wanted to share this one with you all on eBay
Some back story, spending 4 decades in storage, this 1969 Porsche 912 in Slate Gray was sitting for 40 years and still obviously has its original color with decades of dust to go with it. Doesn't look to have much rust problems from sitting beside what you would expect and the grime. It also looks like the passenger side rocker panel will require some more work along with the front suspension pan and the floor pan. Quote:

Worth the asking price if there is no rust as stated. I just finished a '69 911 that spent 2 years in the shop for rust repair and paint. Never do that again.

Wow.

I had a '67 912 for years and enjoyed driving it as much or more than a 911. A buddy had a '69 912. I imagine the four bangers are pricy to rebuild now days, although probably not approaching a 911 engine. Like any old Porsche from that time, rust should be the determining factor along with the price.
