Electromotive - Out of Business

I may be late to the party, but just received notice of auction for their assets.

Damn. This Electramotive creation just dominated. I was lucky enough to see Brabham and Morton decimate the field (silently, like a Ninja) during the beginning of the glory days of GTP.

Bought by Caterpillar. https://www.cat.com/en_US/by-industry/marine/electromotive-diesel-engines.html EMD was a division of GM back in the day.

The facility in McCook just west of Chicago is gone - What equipment Cat took, the remaining either auctioned off or sold for scrap. Been ongoing.
