Movie shut down apparently because of Bill Murray
All’s that being said so far is “inappropriate behavior” forced the shutdown. I love Bill Murray and am hoping this isn’t as bad as it sounds.

Nothing new under the sun.........
This isn’t the first time Murray has been accused of behaving inappropriately on the set of a movie. He has had several public feuds with his colleagues, including producer Laura Ziskin, who worked with Murray on 1991’s What About Bob? and said that he broke her sunglasses and threatened to toss her into a lake during filming. Richard Dreyfuss recalled Murray throwing an ashtray at him on the same set. The daughter of Groundhog Day director Harold Ramis wrote in her memoir that Murray grabbed Ramis’s collar and threw him against a wall during an argument they had on the 1993 film’s set. Charlie’s Angels director McG claims that Murray once headbutted him during production (Murray denies this), and he had a rumored verbal altercation with Lucy Liu while filming. Liu gave her own account of the incident last year, saying on a podcast that Murray started to “hurl insults” at her, using what she called “inexcusable and unacceptable” language. She said in the same interview that she and Murray have since reconciled and that she has “nothing against Bill Murray at all.” Of the altercation with Liu, Murray told the Times of London in 2009, “Look, I will dismiss you completely if you are unprofessional and working with me.” |
Just watched the new Ghostbusters tonight… great movie and dedicated to Harold Ramis who bill allegedly had an altercation with while filming Groundhog Day…

Looks like Bill has issues, as mentioned above, which saddens me.
https://www.dailydot.com/unclick/bill-murray-abusive-behavior-being-mortal/ I was only aware of his altercation with Chevy Chase on SNL. Interesting interview with Chevy: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/QjVdEq6moQM" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

Entitled prima donna's don't do anything for me. Hollywood gets at least a bus load of em from Kansas every week. |
I'm sure Bill's behavior was worse than he's saying.

My understanding is Bill likes to drink.....
|
Could have been worse. Could have been Alec Baldwin back on a movie set
|
He has always had issues, someone just trying to cash out on them.

It used to be that film sets were a type of "sanctuary" where actors could let their hair down away from the public eye and autograph seekers. Lots of laughs, practical jokes and a real camaraderie since you were spending more time together as a group than you were with your own family.
Unfortunately, with the recent focus on "feelings", #metoo and other virtue signaling it has turned into numerous meetings about "harassment", Equity/Inclusivity and Diversity, and everyone walking around on eggshells. It seems that may have been the case here: The 71-year-old “Ghostbusters” and “Caddyshack” comedian suggested the changing nature of what’s considered appropriate humor was a factor. “It’s been quite an education for me,” he said. “The world is different than it was when I was a little kid. What I always thought was funny as a little kid isn’t necessarily the same as what’s funny now. Things change and the times change so it’s important for me to figure it out.” |
And yet he STILL is worth 10,000 Ben Affleks or 100,000,000 Nick Cages or 642 trillion Laura Derns.

Was it the Aunt Jemima treatment?
I love the Aunt Jemima treatment! |
My guess is it probably involved a pitchfork to the throat and a story about the Dali Lama.
Big hitter, the Lama. |
watched Gary Busey got marched off the set, by the elbows. set of Cadence - a Martin Sheen feature.
..... guilty of serial ass grabbing. that was way before the metoo movement. back when Laurence Fishburne was named Larry. : ) to be fair, it was just after the motorcycle accident/head injury incident. Martin S had to step in and become a lead actor, as well as being the director. |

Oh, Billybillybilly.

Read a story about Kirk Douglas sending his little one on pot deliveries throughout the family home during big Hollywood sex and drug parties. Kids saw things no child should be exposed to at a young age.
Read Cory Haims story if you want to be disgusted by adult behaviour in Hollywood. So to me Hollywood can **** off with their fake and situational morality and behaviour code. |

Nice reference to Mr. Hayes! _ |
Actually, I was referring to Judge Smails putter in Caddyshack. One of many great scenes in that movie!
