Any body here regularly use ECS tuning ?

I try to use them , I'm struggling though .
How has your experience been ?

I sent them my E39 / 540 ECM, they modified the ignition & fuel map. Had it back in 4 days or so. Whole 'nother car with that tune. But, that was a few years ago. I think they even gave me a break on price because I was a returning customer. Good experience at that time

I have used them for BMW parts a few times. I thought they were pretty good.

People who post experience feedback should specify the year. There were some negative reports after the change of ownership.

I use FCP Euro for just about all my BMW parts. Lifetime guarantee on everything, including oil!

They are based in Connecticut, so shipping to you should be quick.

OP asked about ECS Tuning.

Just sayin'

I have purchased from ECS about a half a dozen times for BMW, VW and the new Mini Cooper. Lets say a 70% satisfaction rate.

This was several years ago.

I've used them a couple dozen times in the last 7 years for my Audi. Never a problem.
Pretty sure they own our host.

I've used them a couple of times. Still use Pelican for most of my stuff, they're both owned by the same company, BTW...

20k members. Lots of horror stories.

I still use pelican sometimes. FCP is good but the prices have increased a lot for the “lifetime warranty”.

My post / experience was @8 years ago with them

.

I should have been more clear. I’ve used ECS, but use FCP almost all the time for the warranty.

I have purchased from ECS within the last two months . No issues to report . Ordering process was easy as was payment . Orders were received on time . Like anything else shopping around is suggested . For me a rotation of Pelican/ECS/FCP covers my needs .

Satisfied ECS customer with some fairly significant purchases ($) these past 6 or so years. Good customer service with replacement 128i radiator that had issues during my installation. They also stayed on top of supply chain delays with the electric water pump shipping from Europe. Good team in my opinion.
