Holy cow- I LOVE seeing music at Red Rocks but this kid on the keyboards is fantastic
The song is old but it holds up.

That song is evergreen. Looks and sounds as good today, or even 17 years ago, as it did in 1993.

Good sound. I can't get past the drummer's expressions.

I've seen BHTM play, and the drummer has Bonham power. It doesn't come through in this video but he hits hard.

Phhlllbbbbt! What would you possibly know about it?!?
![]() If I'd only known back in the day, that I'd eventually be rubbing keyboards with one of the guys from Sister Sweetly and Stratagem, two of the BHTM CDs that I had. Wow! Oh, and the recipient of the super special Cape Canaveral tour!

Are there any bands similar to BHTM? I don't feel like I've ever heard another group quite like them, but there must be.

Depends on what you're after.
The BHTM sound isn't easily defined. Blind Melon, Wilco, The Shins? Lots of music out there that doesn't drop into easily defined categories.

I haven't thought about Blind Melon in years, probably 25-30. I think I've got some Shins, but haven't listened to them in nearly 15 years.

Don't apologize. It was a good answer. My bolding wasn't to scold you or anything like that. It was to agree with what you'd said.

I was curious what Pandora might pair with BHTM, so I created a channel.
Other that BHTM, Pandora played Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Tom Petty, Blues Traveller, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Gin Blossoms, Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, The Black Crowes, Red Clay Strays, Whiskey Meyers, Chris Stapleton, and a bunch of other stuff. I thought some of it was a good match and some not so much. They are certainly in good company for the most part, I think. It also gave the opportunity to hear some of the BHTM music that was released after the CDs that I bought, all of which is great, of course.
