Casual interest: selling my ecom brake business.

I've build Alconkits.com up for about the last decade to the number one online retailer of Alcon brake systems in the US. Its still small - but its also a niche market.

We've seen steady growth over that time but the family just doesn't have the time any more to operate it. We're holding it back. So I'm entertaining the idea of potentially selling now while its still growing.

This could be the perfect business for a car/truck guy who is retired or semi-retired and wants some low effort incremental income. Why?

1. Time investment to keep it running at current revenue is probably 10-15 hours per week.
2. You can continue to run it with no facilities or boost your margins by maintaining inventory on-site (probably needs a large garage to hold what we have).
3. 100% virtual if you want. Everything is online including books, inventory control, and website (obviously)
4. Multiple sources of distribution (4 suppliers to account for shortages/supply chain)
5. Impeccable online reputation. (All 5 star reviews on Google) Number one listing for most items we carry.

How serious am I? Well depends on the price/offer. If you're serious I can share some of the financials with you. Your ROI would be in the 25% range. Margins are tight but overhead is VERY low. Risk is low. We just don't have the time to take it further.
