so about my airline flight last night.

people act badly. the guy next to me was sneaking micro hits off his vape pen, just sitting in the seat. next to his wife and very young daughter. the daughter was very nervous about her first flight..her dad did take a moment from watching john wick to say to her, "honey, look at the mountains..". he never looked away from his screen, only did to take smoke breaks. hahah. another guy tried to bully a vision impaired lady also suffering from some degentrative diseases when she tried to save seats for her parents/caregivers.... both needed a bit more "on land" time because of some GI issue.. i thought the other passengers were gonna lynch him. haha. i put my headphones on and binged watched boba fett. the pilot got in front of the plane and told everyone that they didnt have to agree with the person sitting next to them, but they had to be nice. he will fly faster to get us there as soon as possible. hahha.. boba fett was awesome.

I seem to have the bad luck of sitting in front of someone kicking the seat. The last time was a four hour trip to Sydney and a guy with a South American accent kept constantly kneeing the back of my seat. I was polite at first... I didn't want to get locked up or banned from flying so I kept my temper under control until I saw him at the airport. GF was angry with me. Me? So I thought well that's my holiday f'ed for the next week so I said to South American guy I'm an expert at tracking so I'll find you, kill you, and bury you in a shallow grave on the side of the road (That's what they do in Australia). At least I ruined his holiday too. I've had a young kid constantly kicking the seat and another occasion a toddler doing the same. Flying - it's over rated. | ||

I don't leave my house unless I have to. People are getting weirder.

Once again, after reading these threads, I am grateful that there is nowhere I want or need to be badly enough to board an airplane to get there.

TSA PreCheck or Clear for security. Head straight to the Airline lounge before your flight. Fly First Class or Main Cabin Extra/Economy Plus for more comfort. End result - avoid 99% of the weirdos at the airport. Lots of places to go, lots of fun things to do and see.

If everyone that you run into is weird.... And yes, I know or have known folks that fit into that category. "Everyone else around me is crazy/stupid/obnoxious/etc..." when apparently, they're in one of those fun houses that's all mirrors.

I see these pics around on the Internet, but I suspect that many/most of them are staged BS. If they weren't, I'm pretty sure it would be justifiable to throw them out the door.

The kicking or hitting the seat behind me is the worst part of an airline trip.

I love kicking and hitting the seat in front of me, time just flies by, even on long haul flights

^^^ I disagree with that. The room that a seat takes while reclining is owned by the occupant. Keep your knees down.
