Grilled Tube Steak for lunch!
Today's lunch on the grill.
Nathan's Colossal Quarter Pound Franks along with deli egg potato salad. Super size buns and fresh onions and mustard. Didn't realize how much they are until getting them home....$10.28 for 8 dogs ![]() ![]()

My daughter and son-in-law +grandkids are visiting from Japan. They went to Costco the first day they were here. He bought steaks and carne asada. Must have spent a fortune as he said one of the fillets would have been $60 over in Japan. He bought half a dozen of them!
My 'no red meat' diet really suffered the past couple of weeks.

They have the big ones at Meijer. Check out the sodium. 1,250mg per frank.
Hate to be a killjoy but I'll stick with 30% fat burgers. lol

one of the things I miss about living in NYC. God they are sooooo good. Best ultracheap NYC food though was a walk up pizza corner around W36th and 8th or 9th, can't remember. You walk up to a window on the corner, hand the man $1 and get the best slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza you ever had right out of the oven. You ate it right there with 10 others.

Top that dog with the 'tater salad next time. That's how the Jewish deli in my hometown served them.

I get on a hotdog and hotdog sauce kick every summer and it usually goes thru college football season.
This is inspirational.! W also get Hebrew National. Another good choice is Earl Campbell's hot Inks. Owned by the football legend. They are great

My recent bout with diverticulitis rules out Nathan’s hot dogs from now on.
