Best investment of the 3?
Went to look at this 82 Honda Civic and was thinking on the way back to the shop, which of three is the best investment. Car ran and drove well. Yes it needs little 13s on it.

^^^ The body looks to be in great shape for an 82 on the north-east coast.
stick shift? Nice!

Your question is well-formed. I think we both see the Civic as the better investment. You could replace everything on this car...engine, transmission, interior, paint....everything, and still not pay anywhere near a new car price. You'd have reliable, adorable wheels for the next 300,000 miles. And good gas mileage. The only negative would be safety. No airbags.

How did we survive without politicians and bureaucrats protecting us through ever increasing regulations?
Buy the Civic...or better yet, I bonds.

Sweet car. And not complicated (not too electronic) at that stage.

Let's hope the owner accepts my offer.
Steve, it does have some rust but minor in relation to the year.

See the poll:
3 Ethereum (crytpto, about $6K worth) Rivian stock, it's half what it was, so $6K worth of it Honda for $6K Honestly, short term, I think the Ethereum will double and then sell. Rivian, crapshoot, more long term. The Honda? Who knows.

Great pic! They are fun though honestly if I could find a decent 89-91 CRX Si, that's what I'd get.

Well he accepted my offer of $5200 and apparently someone else offered him $5500 last night. Don't think it's in the cards.

I thought you were collecting fiats?
How about a green 1999 Isuzu Amigo? For you I'll throw in a set of 911 swaybars.

That '64 1500 Cab was beautiful from the rockers up. Lot of rust underneath from being stored for so long improperly. Way more rust than the '70 Spider. In fact the inside of the gas tank on that thing only has minor surface rust. I'm going put half a gallon of HCl in and swish it around to clean it, should be perfect then.
I'm just looking for fun, interesting cars that I won't at least lose money. Bummed about the Honda. Sending email on the bars.
