Anybody want a low miles s197 Bullitt Mustang?

10,000 miles on this '08. Asking and getting are 2 different things, but they are in the biz, I'm not. Sounds high to me, but I dunno.

No need to hurry for that one, it'll be there a long time at that price.

It seems used car prices have begun their fall. Some predicted a 30% reduction this calendar year. They'll need to fall quickly in the next 6 months for that to come true.

Hemmings guys think:

Half hour of Hemmings guys discussing the s197 Mustang...(2005-2014). They talk price a bit, but mostly the various models & years, their personal favorites, etc. Both having owned Mustangs...I found it interesting, many here, especially Stijn, wouldn't. Helpful info only if you're interested. (edit) July 2021 podcast)

If I don't have time to watch it, which one has the most torque for plowing through bystanders?

They didn't talk about that...though one guy did talk of ripping 911's on track days.

How are these for durability? What is one like w/ tons of miles?
My E36 M3 has no squeaks or rattles @ 145,000.
Always liked these Mustangs, but for around the price of this one you can get a lot of other cool cars.

Have you considered LS swapping your M3? Those cars appear to offer a lot of satisfaction and reliability once sorted.

Durability? Some on the Bullitt board reporting 4.6's with well over 100K with only routine service and replacements. My car is at 32,000 with zero problems...routine service, mobil 1.

Noise? They are a noisy car...exhaust and engine noise, some wind & tire noise. Kind of a waste to install a good stereo. If quiet is high on your priority list, best to look elsewhere. That said, no squeaks or rattles for me so far. Guys who have modded suspension for track use, using poly bushings report noise, but that's to be expected in any car, right?

Poly bushings = more noise, that's for sure.

Here's Mike Muisto, one of the guys in that Hemmings video, describing the suspension mods he'd done to the '13 Mu8stang he talked about in the video. After this, doesn't surprise me he made "vette and 911 drivers wonder WTF a bit.

14 minutes, some track footage on Laguna Seca.
