If you are asking what TV station it's being covered by Motor Trend TV in the US .

LeMans - a snippet of history, with a great photo of a brace of 904's lined up and waiting to go.

Live timing can be found at https://live.fiawec.com/en/live

The excellent Radio Lemans feed is at RS Player

A little over an hour left , it's been a great race to watch .

Riley/Bee Safe Racing based in North Carolina was running a Ferrari 488 Evo. First attempt. finished 5th in class. Not too shabby.

The #64 'Vette was looking good to win LMGTE Pro until this bit of stupid driving happened...

<iframe width="933" height="525" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/WQK6c1b6_AQ" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Supposedly, Perrodo said he said he thought he was ahead already, but if he did, he's either stupid or lying.

Play it at 25% speed and look... he had no reason to believe he was past the 'Vette... look at his helmet... he was clearly looking at the blue car and over corrected.

It happened just as he drew even with the Vette, or when his nose was just a little past its nose.

I know the compression of the long distance lens makes it difficult to see exactly, but look where the shadow of the 'Vette's front end is just 1/10th of a second before the hit:

The #91 Porsche won the class, which was gratifying after the woman in the #51 Ferrari's garage was shown clapping as she watched the feed. The #51 was running in 2nd at the time, but went into the lead after the crash.

Jeez - the guy made a mistake in the heat of a long race with the so-so vis you get in a P2 car, and upon return to the pits he immediately ran to the corvette team to apologize to each-and-every-member in person. No excuses. In this day and age of "it's never my fault" I applaud that and it's almost more memorable than a corvette victory that may or may not have happened... Honestly I'm more shocked that the Corvette lost that battle, I'd have expected the tiny P2 car to bounce off it.. Anyway I'll throw the first stone after I run the 24hrs of Le Mans myself (I hear Perrodo was given a free 992 build slot by Porsche - just kidding!!!)

Next year should be awesome, with the amazing new hypercars (the BMW and Peugeot in particular look fantastic) - I may go in person to see that one...New era... The current prototypes with zero competition for toyota was getting boring (not their fault, though).

(shrugging) Well, that's racing. :(

(edit) Pretty good 10 minutes highlights video for those of us who missed it all.

Another GTEPRO win for Porsche.. just wish they would get back in the top league.
clearly theres no competition left up there with 5 Toyota wins in a row. both their cars in the same lap with 5 laps on the next guy...

Ever sat in one of those cockpits?
I have, the 919, similar to that Toyota, it's very cramped
Add helmet
hans device
The speeds they do
and the typical overtake speeds they have on the lesser classes.

he made an honest mistake, flinched when that blue one moved in his direction..
That's Le Mans for you.

Every year there are similar dramas and accidents.

In case you haven't heard Porsche is going to be racing a LMDh in 2023 . It is designed to run in the top tier of IMSA and WEC . The effort is going to be a collaboration between Porsche and Penske . Chassis is a Multimatic utilizing a Porsche twin turbo V8 and a Williams hybrid battery system . They have been testing the car since December .

Next year is going to be crazy. 100th year anniversary. Good luck with the crowds. I'd love to go, just not so sure about next year.

Go to the ROAR at Daytona and/or the 24 hours next year. See many of the same cars for a fraction of the cost. The ROAR is a steal with minimal crowds.
