With trying to move out west, and this crazy housing market. I have decided to sell my 1980 416 Doka. Many of you have seen the restoration, and the amount of time, thought and money that has gone into this truck. Over 2000 hours of labor and $50k in new parts over the cost of buying the truck to begin with. This truck has about 3800 miles on it since finishing the restoration. Has a new 352A turbo motor, 16 Speed transmission with 22% underdrive, "Ultrafast" gearing in the axles giving a top speed of 80 mph. Three way dump box, hydraulic winches both front and rear. Exactly. That thing is awesome. I'm not in the market (but I'd love to be). I can't imagine driving that thing the ~1700 miles from NY to TX.

We did, now in CO. living in our RV looking for a house. But the cost of homes out here is outrageous! Our house in Fairport would be worth over 2 million out here, while we sold it for only $550k in NY. Don't want a mortgage, so If I can raise an extra $200k we can get more than a POS shack to live in.

based on what a "great ones" seems to go for (which is a STUNNING sum of money) it would seem you are not out of the high end of the range.........

Seems like features, as simple as tire inflators drive a real premium.

GL with the sale.......... I have seen them in the hinterlands of Quebec go for chump change but they are old, tired, beaters..........

Everything about that thing is badass.

We are looking in the Evergreen area, as its just in the foothills where the temps are about 10 degrees lower than Denver, yet only about 30 minutes away. Both of our kids now live in Denver, so want to stay close to them, but don't want to be in the city.
