What a lame dream car

My daughter was corresponding with some dude on a dating website. She asked him what his dream car is. Answer? Honda Civic. She moved on.

Well, a little better than a mini van full of offspring from his previous marriage.

Great question on her part. If it was a Civic Type R then might be worth meeting him, otherwise: next.

A sensible girl would appreciate your thriftiness and sensibility. She won't be hot, but she'll be genuine.

A standard Honda Civic may be lame but I can think of a lot worse.

How about a Chinese made car that has a defunct "British" badge?

Yea, because dating an idiot with an $800 lease payment is the start of many terrible life choices.
The average car guy is a stunted idiot, don't let your daughter date one.

Yes. Ask a man about his dreams and aspirations. Or even about his current pursuits and hobbies. If he can't answer, then he basically does not exist. Or I guess, more accurately, he exists but that is all.

Funny...I let Cindy think my only car was a Chevy pickup during our early dates...

This question is about a "dream car". Most people will never own their dream car but it does give an interesting view into the person. It's more of a reflection of goals and hobbies. If you are a car person, you really do want someone who can appreciate cars with you because the car world is a culture.

By the way: When I first met my husband, I would have told you my dream car was a C1 Corvette. That first model has always spoken to me but I have never owned one. My husband would have said a 930 and we did own one of those for almost 15 years. Yes, we had that conversation at the beginning.
