Everybody is asking crazy money for used cars .

But they are not moving.
I have been trying to land a Honda Odyssey for wifey . The same 40 vans that are all overpriced reflecting today's supposed market , are still there after 60 days or more .
Any good deals that have popped up, were snatched up faster than I could lock my shop door and head their direction .
I have been watching this trend for the last few months . I am always shopping, and or watching the car market, at least as far as anything I am interested in .
Not just dealers. Private party sales , are trying to mimic dealer prices, and their vehicles just fester .
I tried to sell my nice half ton GMC pick up at todays prices and after a month , not one reply at just a tick under what everybody else was asking . I had to drop the price a few times to get some interest going and finally a sale. I still did really good, but not where I though I would end up after seeing everything else for sale in my same market .
That was 4 months ago, and I still see some of those trucks listed .

Prices are cooling off now. Private parties especially don't want to see it. What vintage Odyssey are you looking for? If only a few years old, you might find the price pound for pound better on new.

I have a few friends and a sister-in-law that own Odysseys
Each says the same thing....they will never sell it...until it dies.
Honda did a good job on that van.
