Bought an independent Porsche shop!

I went from traveling by private jet to cleaning toilets - and I'm loving it:

Much thanks to Jeff Alton for consultation and inspiration over the the past years that I've been working on this.

I feel I am extremely blessed to have found a truely passionate owner/seller that wanted the shop he built over the last 40 years to live on not unlike a classic Porsche changing hands. He and I get on fantastically and will transition the business over the coming years.

Yes but he's contracted to me for a few years yet - he really didn't want to just shut the doors.

I've had both of my cars (in my sig) there over the years. Tim was always so good at taking lots of time to explain everything that was needed. I really liked how he worked on one car at a time until done. A very nice guy that has a great reputation.

yes - this is the weight on my shoulders...you can not replace a guy like Tim but I believe we are like minded and my job is to find a way to continue this service to the Porsche community - it may take 6 people to replace his wrenching but I am confident that I can be the one that makes sure whatever we do is done right.

I probably wont drive my own cars much in the coming year but who cares...when I left today we had five 356's in the shop including a Speedster, a Pre A, an outlaw, and a barn find. I'm broke but I'm living a fantasy.
