Streaming Internation Radio Stations - what do you listen to?

Often when I come back from a vacation, I'll continue to stream a local radio station once home.

Anyone have interesting choices? Got back from Hawaii recently and keep listening / streaming KWXX. SmileWavy

This one is great. WIWS internet radio. It's got compression and pops and clicks and static. Like listening to an AM radio in an old Buick Roadmaster while necking at the Drive-In Theater.

Cool oldies, doo wop and even vintage commercials....

KPIG out of Freedom, CA. This station's local to me, but also streams commercial-free on the 'net.

Americana, blues, rock, bluegrass, country, reggae and whatever else suits their fancy.

What is KPIG?
We're an anachronism - a throwback to the days when real DJs picked out the music, and listeners expected something more from a radio station than just a couple of hundred songs repeated over and over, with some "big voice" guy yelling about how great it all is.

Good question.
I normally don't stream anything while I'm working - I have really slow internet.
I listen to the local active rock station. www.957therock.com The thing I don't like about them is they play songs to death, every 90 minutes or so. Even older stuff, it's like some bands only wrote one song in their lifetime, and that's the one they'll play. They used to bring good bands to town, but then the one DJ who appreciated the music moved out of town, the night guy moved into his slot, and now the night and overnight slots are syndicated. Going to hell, I tell you. When they started, they were awesome. Kara West was the evening host, she was quickly moved to the morning slot because of her talent. She ended up moving to Las Vegas, then married Larry the Cable Guy.

When we travel to visit the granddaughter there's a station we listen to on the way, and then another when we get there.
97.3 the rock out of Dubuque, which isn't affiliated with 95.7 the rock as far as I know. Their staff page only shows two DJs, so they may also by syndicating a lot of their airplay.
And someday the afternoon guy is going to graduate high school, at least from looking at his picture. https://973therock.radiodubuque.com/staff/

When we get to the quad cities I listen to i-rock. - https://irock935.com/

Eau Claire? https://www.929thex.com/
Madison? https://www.wjjo.com/
Minneapolis? Usually https://www.93x.com/ , but they play some weird stuff sometimes, also they repeat fairly often. I'll need to find another.
What was the question again?

I used to listen to MIXFM in Yakutsk, Siberia on rediogarden for its quirky music, but it went off the air probably because a lot of it was in english.
