Pelican Shipping Issues - 2nd time giving me other people's parts

I only post this thread because Pelican Parts is closed weekends, and weekend is the only time I have time to open my orders. So when I have problems all I can do is send them an email...................and wait until I have time to respond.

Two orders in two months they shipped me someone else's parts, oh and shorted me a part the first time, but it got resolved.

So from what I can tell the label Priority Mail DPO means Diplomatic Post Office, and AE means Armed Forces Europe.

It's all in a shipping box, label of some kind partially attached.

I'd wait for instructions from Pelican Parts, but the last time the instructions had over a dozen steps and made no sense to me, they did not make it easy. I just gave it to my wife as she returns stuff all the time, and I do not.

Edited: Picture of name and address removed.

What would you do?

I don't see a postal delivery service name, bar codes and so forth.

I seriously do not want problems shipped to me, Pelican Parts WTF?

I'd return them. Seems like the easy solution.

But twice in two months getting the wrong stuff? Damn! Sounds like they've got some training to do.

Talk me though the return process.

The first time: I print out the label they send me, put it on the box.

Then what?

I didn't see a phone number for pickup last time, the instructions were a novel in complexity written by someone intent on obscuring the information.

Should be a step, one two three, not a page long dissertation that needs decoding.

Just say'n, why can't it be easy?

You can contact FedEx or UPS or go online to schedule a pickup. Typically you get a return authorization, put the authorization number in the box or on the box, put the label on the box making sure the old labels are removed, then contact the shipper. If it's USPS you can leave it in the mailbox and they'll snag it when they deliver your mail.

Are you kidding? You literally have to have someone tell you how to ship a package?

It's not always easy.

I bought a clutch and other bits from pebble auto.
(but the shop would only install their own parts,)
The returns ended up going into three different boxes to three different location.

Thanks, I had no idea that I had to go to the FedEx website, wasn't noted in the instructions, and no website provided.

I thought that I was dealing with Pelican Parts and they do that part, that's how it worked 12 years or so ago, the last time I had to do something this it was all by phone.

Pelican still hasn't contacted me (checked spam folder too), below is the instructions from last time. Not really written for someone that hasn't had to do it before in my opinion. Like I even knew who the shipping company was or what method (ground etc...) the original recipient choose.

What mail pouch?

If FedEx Ground?

Who knows this information, not me.

Make it easy Pelican Parts, just stop sending me other peoples parts and all would be good.

How much are you paying me to work for you?

I feel sorry for the two people that didn't get their parts and want to help them out, but this has got to stop.

^Best complaint (advice) here.

Where was the difficulty and how can it be fixed to make it simple and easy?

Other than providing the return label, I'm not really sure how simple they can make it. The customer still needs to apply the label and contact the shipper to schedule a pickup wouldn't they? I've done a lot of returns and I typically end up dropping the package off at a FedEx or UPS drop location simply because I like seeing that scan into the system and getting a receipt as proof of return.

Okay the "pouch" I believe is the clear pouch with the adhesive back. Absent the "pouch" I simply tape the label to the box with packaging tape.

All I can say is if you can’t print a label and get a box shipped you probably shouldn’t be working on your own car.
