Odd tire deflation

So I was pulling an empty trailer and hit a big concrete chunk/road debris from construction and killed the side wall. After changing the wheel and installing the brand new spare, I noticed the air pressure was a bit low......the tire decided to completely go flat before I could grab my battery powered compressor ....ARRRGH!

These tires run at 80 psi. I'm thinking that the air slipped by the bead. Once pumped up it has held pressure. Anyone else have this issue?

I think you are correct about the bead.
