Anyone looking for a nice Class C RV?

As in, really, really nice? :)

I'm selling this one for a friend, basically new 2021 model Leisure Unity U24RL, which is floor plan *rear lounge*. They make these in several configurations. It has every upgrade available at the time of ordering it, upgraded solar, generator, etc.

People are currently waiting up to 2 years for delivery on these after ordering. They are built in Canada to order and are the best of the best, also the hottest RV on the market according to the dealer I spoke with. This one has 186 total miles from new, it was driving home from the dealer and then moved once to the warehouse in DTLA where it sits now. It has never been used. Built on the new MB Sprinter 3500 chassis with a V-6 diesel. Pretty fuel efficient for an RV, apparently.

An identical new one with the wait, (and potential price hikes that must be paid during wait), are ~$193k. I'm looking for $190k obo for this and obviously immediate delivery with registration paid in CA. until March of 2023.

Maybe a shot in the dark to post it here but you never know. The market for this is someone who is waiting for a new one. There are all kinds of supply chain issues holding them up.

Sorry for the lousy photos, it's dusty from sitting in the warehouse. I'll try to get some better ones tomorrow.

Can it tow a 7k enclosed trailer?

I think that wheelbase and length of stock sprinter is rated for 5k and it's quite unlikely that Denis' cool rig would tow much at all cause some of that weight gets spoken for in the buildout.

At work we have a 2020 Sprinter 170 high roof dually and it's rated for 5000 lbs towing. We pull about 4k including the trailer and it is most certainly not a spirited ride. It gets it done but not quickly.

Best of luck. Looks like a cool rig. Unusual deal to have it basically new, but some (possibly significant) portion of the warranty expired. Why was it never used? It would be worth checking with the factory to see how much warranty is left. RV warranties are complex due to the many systems in them from 3rd party suppliers like Dometic. So many RV's, even the "good" ones, leave the factory with issues. I looked at the website quickly. GVWR and GCWR only a bit over 2,200 lbs so it wouldn't tow much correct?

Sprinters are known for their lack of tow capacity

Those are good questions, it has a class 4 receiver but apparently will not tow much, according to the posts above. As for warranty, I think that the powertrain is 5 years and the overall warranty is 2 years, one year of which is gone.

The reason it was never used is because the person who bought it overestimated their desire to go camping, by a lot. :D

You will not be roughing it in this.

That $ will buy a lot of RV, that’s basically a big van, nice, but still a van.

Good luck!

Most of the smaller C / B+ motorhomes are built on the MB Sprinter, Ford Transit, or Ram Van chassis. They all have a tow hitch rating of 5,000 lbs, but one must consider the total load the vehicle is capable of, or the GVCR (Gross vehicle combined weight rating). This is the maximum allowable combined mass of the vehicle: weight of vehicle + passengers + cargo (GVWR of the vehicle) PLUS the total weight of the trailer and load (GVWR of the trailer).

In the case of the B+ motorhomes on the aforementioned chassis, as stated above - they are good for pulling around 4,000 - 4,300 lbs, but you won't be able to exceed the speed limit on the highways...
