Anyone ever done the BMW track experience at their performance center in Greer, SC?

Yes. I basically did a one-day "M" school there about 8 years ago. Plenty of seat time and enjoyed it. Wasn't cheap but it was nice not worrying about tearing up your own equipment. A lot of little competitions at the end of the day between the participants that were fun too.

So... When is your friend planning on going along to the track and what's the plan? Sounds interesting.

My brother bought an M5 and had a track day there. Sometime during the day, they had some type of autocross/timed event. My brothers wife beat everybody there and she’s not a car person. I think her daily driver was a suburban. There were guys there with souped up BMWs, Dinan loaded BMW’s, etc. He said it was comical because the guys got beat by a housewife.

That said, I’ve heard it’s a lot of fun.

Hi Bill! Sometime after he takes delivery - which hasn't happened yet.
