Anne Heche car accident

Looks like her driving was impaired. She got burned in the fire and is in the hospital. The smoke was apparently horrific. I hope she'll be okay!

Witnesses told TMZ that Heche first crashed into a garage of an apartment complex before she reversed and sped off, colliding with the nearby home shortly after.

Driving on Preston Way, Heche reportedly ran a stop sign at the Walgrove intersection and drove through some large privacy bushes before the car rested inside the house, according to KTLA.

Another source tells PEOPLE: "She just peeled through [the stop sign]. I was like, 'Oh my God, that person's going to kill somebody.' "

Los Angeles authorities are still investigating the incident.

Sounds like drugs, alcohol, or a medical emergency. She doesn't seem like the kind that would drive like that. Baz maybe, but not Anne Heche.

That would be an understatement. Wednesday morning, I’m going to get my usual cup of caffeine on Larchmont, a popular little village/walk street in Los Angeles. As I approach Larchmont on 3rd, I can see that the traffic light is out and someone is directing traffic to turn right only. When I get to the corner, I can see why as there are a couple of crashed cars including one overturned 100 yards past the intersection. Bottom line is that someone was speeding west, someone else turned right on red in front of them and the westbound vehicle swerved, lost control and barrel rolled/flipped through the air before landing upside down.

The physics were so violent that she took out a telephone pole 8’ off the ground, (snapped it like a toothpick), as well as damaged a tree pretty badly. She died at the scene, hanging from her seatbelt.

I said at the time that it was one of the worst crash scenes I’d ever seen. Then the next day, this:

I'm guessing her life is "fairly ordinary" right now. This is really sad & she's been seriously burnt!

It is so sad that people we watched on the screen when they were in there prime are not the same as they get older, All you have to do is look in the mirror and say I remember back when!

Many years ago on Oprah (I think) she talked about how her "bald father" abused her as a child. He went to the grave unrepentant & still in denial about his baldness. At the time I didn't understand what she meant by the "baldness" comments but I do now. I'd bet she's still angry and IHO he was a POS. Some people carry baggage like that forever.
