Question for you bearded guys
I've been using a Wahl full size "haircut" device for when my beard gets a little long and carefully using the sideburn trimmer on a Phillips shaver between times.
I'm getting tired of the clunkyness of the Wahl with the clip-on length dodads and the shaver is acting up. I've been looking at one-size-fits-all devices and came across this. I've watched a couple of YouTube videos and it seems to be just what I need. What say you? https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-ER-GB42-K-Precision-Beard-Trimmer/dp/B075LQYFNB/ref=sr_1_5?crid=ZFORM91SVKW7&keywords=beard%2Btrim mer%2Bfor%2Bmen%2Badjustable&qid=1660115668&sprefi x=beard%2Btrimmer%2Caps%2C110&sr=8-5&th=1 I tend to keep my beard trimmed to between 1/4 and 1/2 inch. |
I use something similar. This one has lasted a good while but at these prices a couple of years is fine.

Been using the old Wahl for about 40 years. No problems. It ain't broke.
Looks like the gadget will do the trick, but for 1/2 inch it uses an attachment. Best Les |
I've used a version of this since about 1990. The latest version is li-ion rechargeable.

I take it traveling. Back when I kept my hair (I shave it now), I could use this while traveling to keep my regular hair short.

I'm lazy and live in a small town. I hit the local barber lady every 4-6 weeks, and if it is above the neck line of my t-shirt it gets a #1 buzz. Her prices just went up to $9 from $7... I give her 15. Usually in winter I'll extend that and go a few months, then when it warms up again I tell her of my usual but let her decide what looks best since all the options are there so to speak. If I don't like it, well, we can just run a #1 blade over everything above the neck line...
