International shipping (mini move)- experience ?

Hitting the collective for advice...

Is there a simple reasonably priced option for shipping stuff from the US to Europe, point to point ? A containr is way too much and complex, not to mention $$$ these days. We need to bring more stuff over (for an extenday stay) than is convenient to carry as luggage due to weight.. no furniture, not requiring a company's help or a partial container, but heavier than just clothing (some books, some kitchen ware, clothes, house stuff but no furniture)..

Looking for something +/- sized like 4 big regular suitcases' worth of heavy crap but no rush on timing - maximum a "Pod" size but even that's overkill.

UPS/Fedex seem super pricey these days and too fast (don't want to pay premium for speed, we got time)... looking for point to point ideally and not have to deal with a harbor/customs hassle, delivered at destination... Wondering if anyone knows of options. I checked USPS, UPS and Fedex and it was insanely high. Thx !

Pallet via air cargo or in a container
