Lots of rain lately leads to...
....easy tunneling for these lawn wreckers.
Set the trap at sundown yesterday...first thing this morning, it was tripped.

^^^ Yes, a small mole.
I was expecting a larger one from all the raised dirt he left. I had a terrible gopher problem about ten years back. I discovered the milk jug strategy and caught about 20 of them in a week. I haven't had any for a few years now.

In the many times I've used the milk jug of water, I don't remember ever coming up without a gopher. The only rule is that you must see one going into the hole. If not...the hole will most likely be empty.
