955 v8 cayenne spark plugs… 4 prong or iridium?
They recommend the iridium single electrode plugs for the Cayenne Turbo… this is what I bought for my Cayenne S. When I went to swap in the new plugs, I discovered the 4 prong Bosch super plugs… they looked ‘ok’.
So, what would you do, leave in the Bosch Supers or install the NGK iridium plugs? I’m at the point I need to decide. The iridium’s might last the rest of the life of the vehicle. |
I would install what Porsche recommends for your vehicle. Multi-prong ground sparkplug are nothing more than marketing gimmics. They can actually introduce a problem with flame travel and creating hot-spots for pre-ignition

So there’s the dilemma. |
Will the retailer you purchased the plugs from take them back and provide you the multi tip plugs ?

I installed the NGKs. Never having to do the plugs again is worth more to me than +/- 1-2 HP.
