955 v8 cayenne spark plugs… 4 prong or iridium?
 

They recommend the iridium single electrode plugs for the Cayenne Turbo… this is what I bought for my Cayenne S. When I went to swap in the new plugs, I discovered the 4 prong Bosch super plugs… they looked ‘ok’.

So, what would you do, leave in the Bosch Supers or install the NGK iridium plugs? I’m at the point I need to decide. The iridium’s might last the rest of the life of the vehicle.

I would install what Porsche recommends for your vehicle. Multi-prong ground sparkplug are nothing more than marketing gimmics. They can actually introduce a problem with flame travel and creating hot-spots for pre-ignition

Yes. The gimmick multi prong plugs were the Porsche installed factory plugs…

So there’s the dilemma.

Will the retailer you purchased the plugs from take them back and provide you the multi tip plugs ?

I installed the NGKs. Never having to do the plugs again is worth more to me than +/- 1-2 HP.
