The boxer that did the sucker punch was the one that offered the high glove touch.

Like the first comment in the Yahoo Sports link originally posted "Legal but bad sportsmanship."

Has the feel of a street fight where anything goes but pales in comparison to kickboxing in Asia where blows are delivered before the bow and after the bell regularly.
