I’m hooked on Classic R&B Radio on Pandora

It’s causing issues at home. It’s the only thing I listen to nowadays, whether I’m working in the garage, yard or cooking. I’ve stopped listening to my favorite libertarian podcasts. The Spinners, Commodores and Chaka Khan call to me. I’ve even renamed my VW bug, Mary Jane, a song about weed or a girl (who knows which) by Rick James.

Anyone else like R&B?

What's the problem? Oh...you'd love my ipod...

Yeah, I listen to "Soultown" on Sirius a lot.

They play all 60s and 70s R&B.

I’m close. More into the funk and soul categories. Growing up on Portland in the 1970s and 80s, the radio was shockingly whitewashed. I didn’t hear lots of this until years later. And, as a bass player, I feel deprived!

There's a local non-profit FM station is DC that plays all kinds of cool stuff. On Saturday mornings as well as other times; 4-hour blocks of old R&B that you've probably never heard of before as sometimes the lyrics can be rather...........racy. They have free online streaming 89.3/WPFW.

The 'disc' jockey's there also provide a fair amount of backstory to each artist / song, really good stuff. They also have Bluegrass 'blocks', Caribbean, etc. Highly recommend.

Grew up on all that. Great sounds, soulful music.

Classic R&B rotates on my playlist.

I love those jams esp driving and working in the garage.

No problem here......I've incorporated several Luther Vandross and James Ingram songs into my karaoke repertoire.

I've posted this before. An internet station that sounds like you're making out in the back of a '62 Oldsmobile....

Same here... and the rock, too. Was flipping channels earlier this week and came across the credits to The Great Outdoors and was reminded once again how awesome Wilson Pickett's voice (and especially his scream) is...
