Inspite of my retirement

Lots of ships, boats, nice cars (car shows every Friday night) all summer which brought us glorious weather. Kept me entertained for sure, hate to see winter coming, Oh well can't do much about that.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1662225872.jpg

How is the summer going over there, Dennis? Are things getting back to normal, tourism wise?
I guess the bulk carriers will be coming in for another three months or so.
Enjoy the weather.

Best
Les

Glad you like them, we had lots and lots of ships
this year, but I don't get as near to them any more and I should be taking more pics but I don't always get a chance

regards BTW That ship in today is the "BAIE ST PAUL"

Love the Dodge.

I love ships. I particularly love the Cape Natal. It brought my 911 to me 28 years ago and we have been together ever since. I watched it come into the harbour. It's huge.

How is summer in the north? Looks very nice.

Much bigger ship than I thought:

Baie St. Paul has a gross tonnage of 24,430 tons and a deadweight tonnage of 37,690 tons according to the Miramar Ship Index. However, according to the CSL website, Baie St. Paul has the same gross tonnage but the ship has a deadweight tonnage of 34,500 tons. The vessel is 225.5 metres (739 ft 10 in) long overall with a beam of 23.76 metres (77 ft 11 in). The ship has a depth of 14.75 metres (48 ft 5 in) and a maximum draught of 9 metres (30 ft). The vessel has a crew of 15–18.
