Adhesive / Glue Suggestions

I've got a pair of Bose headphones, and the ear cushions are fitted with a very light pressure fit that just isn't working well anymore. I'd like to use a glue/adhesive, but it needs to be non-permanent, as it will only be a matter of time when the cushions are worn out and need replacing.

Any suggestions? Something that would bind flat plastic surfaces, but with the option to pull them apart without damage.

Just on one side and let tack thoroughly should be about right.

Cushions are fine, plenty of life left, but the backsides no long 'click' (pressure fit) into the tiny retention clips. So just need to anchor them down a bit, but not so much that when they do need replacing, it will be a no-drama to remove them.

Probably try the silicone first, as I have some on hand.

You know, that flat glob of clear glue the publishers of the phone books use to stick the local Attorney's refrigerator magnet to the cover of the phone book. Works great on the neighbors when placed in your mustache after a fake sneeze. See if they say anything.
