There's Just Something About The Espada!
I think the Espada is such a unique car. When we lived in Valparaiso, Florida there was a man who had an Espada, I remember the car was brown and all me and my friends knew was that it was a Lamborghini!!! I can remember we were riding our bicycles and there it was, we just thought it was cool looking and I never forgot that shape. Harry's Espada is super cool and sounds incredible!!!

Ed Daly, the once owner of World Airways, lived near my parents' house in a brick mansion with a tennis court. He was like the Hollywood celebrity of the area. I was hitchhiking home from school (around 8th grade) and a friend was across the street climbing into his mom's Ford wagon wanting to know if I wanted a ride home. I said "no, here's my ride" as I stuck my thumb out. Ed Daly stopped in his Espada and gave me a ride. My friend's jaw dropped all the way. A cherished memory.

There was a MG dealer and would also sell high-end imports not far from me when I was a kid. Used to ride my bike over and see what cool stuff was in the showroom. For a time there was a dark blue Espada for sale. What a car that was! It looked like a UFO sitting there next to a MGB.

They are seriously magnificent cars. In my eyes they are handsome from every angle.
Its crazy they were built along the Miura which are easily are a $2.5M car but only worth 5% of the Miura. |
