I was late to DB. I had zero interest in the ZS roll.

I’ll watch it because in the end he was extraordinarily gifted.

The ZS times were his best.
When Diamond Dogs was released....I saw him at the McCormick Place in Chicago.(1972?) He had already changed from rock to jazz for a few years. It was a terrible concert...nobody was expecting that.

He truly was a chameleon when it came to his type of music...but he could do it all...gifted he was.

Even if the reviews/ratings were bad...I would still go see it.

Thanks for posting the link. Interesting times.

Brilliant even when he was older. Didn't pretend to be a kid. Just stayed himself.

IIRC he brought Ziggy to NYC in '72 or '73. No way we could get tickets so we hung around outside smokin' doobies.

Everything clicked on Ziggy Stardust making it a wonderful package.

I won't say it's his best because there was work before and after that I find outstanding.

Mick Ronson played a major part in his success into the early 80's.

Here is Pink Floyd's See Emily Play covered by Bowie. Ronson sounds great.

Saw it at the I-Max today.
A great movie for Bowie fans.
Live shows that included a couple songs that I don't remember. The live performance of 'Heroes' was the best.
Nothing off of 'Diamond Dog'...(the only disappointment for me.)

They really had the sound cranked...and it was real good. The dialogue was almost too loud.
